English Pubs Good For Health
A Leeds University researcher says that English pubs’ welcoming atmosphere helps men to get rid of the stresses of modern life and is vital for their psychological well-being according to a Reuters story. Dr. Colin Giff said women should encourage men to “pop out for a swift pint. Pub-time allows men to bond with friends and colleagues,” Dr. Giff said. “Men need break-out time as much as women and are mentally healthier for it.” Dr. Giff surveyed 900 men on their reasons for going to the pub. More than 40 percent said they went for conversation, with relaxation and friendly atmosphere being the other most common reasons.

Grey Eagle successfully introd uced Anheuser Busch’s 180 energy drink and Killarney’s Red Lager and began planning for the new Bacardi Silver malt beverage. A full schedule of promotional events with retailers was accomplished and Grey Eagle was highly visible in many community events. Grey Eagle helped coordinate the first “Share the Cash” Bud Bowl promotion and “The Locker Room” in Florissant was randomly selected as the winning location.
