Welcome to the Internet site for "The Grey Eagle", the newspaper of Grey Eagle Distributors, the St. Louis (MO) County wholesaler of Anheuser-Busch products since 1963.

The first edition of "The Grey Eagle" appeared in April, 1979. Each issue contains information and photographs about beer industry issues, Grey Eagle community and charitable activities, Anheuser-Busch brands, moderate consumption, a featured retailer and news about retailers.

Initially mailed to licensed retail accounts served by Grey Eagle and to the company’s employees, circulation of The Grey Eagle has grown to approximately 3,500 including 1,600 retail customers and 175 employees. Others on the mailing list include business and civic leaders; elected municipal, county and state and federal officials; area police and fire departments; Anheuser-Busch executives and other Anheuser-Busch wholesalers; print and broadcast news organizations; and retires and friends of the company.

An electronic version of The Grey Eagle has been available on Grey Eagle’s website, www.greyeagle.com, since 2001 and it has been available in PDF form since early 2004.

Anheuser-Busch and Grey Eagle Remain Committed to St. Louis

With all the talk about changes in the beer industry, it’s easy to lose sight of what hasn’t changed. St. Louis is still the home of the largest U.S. brewer.

Billions of cans and bottles of Budweiser, Michelob and other Anheuser-Busch products are brewed and bottled in St. Louis every year and delivered fresh to Midwest retailers by employees of Anheuser-Busch distributors.
